iOS Apple Mail 2024

  1. Open Settings on your mobile:

    • Tap on the "Settings" app on your iOS device.
  2. Go to Mail Settings:

    • Scroll down and tap on "Mail".
  3. Select Accounts:

    • Tap on "Accounts" to see a list of your email accounts.
  4. Choose Your Email Account:

    • Tap on the email account for which you want to set up the outgoing SMTP
  1. Account Information:

    • After selecting your email account, tap on the email address listed under "Account".
  2. Outgoing Mail Server:

    • Scroll down to the "Outgoing Mail Server" section and tap on "SMTP".
  3. Primary Server:

    • Under "Primary Server", tap on the server listed.
  4. Configure SMTP Server:

    • Make sure the "Server" switch is turned on (green).
    • Enter the following details:
      • Host Name: The address of your SMTP server mail.mysmtp.com
      • User Name: Your email username (usually your email address).
      • Password: Your email password.

    • Authentication: Set this to "Password".
    • Server Port: Enter the port number:
      587, 2525 or 25
  5. Save Changes:

    • Tap "Done" in the upper right corner to save your settings.
  6. Additional Servers:

  • If you have additional SMTP servers listed under "Other SMTP Servers", make sure they are configured similarly or turned off if not needed.
  1. Verify and Test:
  • Go back to your mail app and try sending a test email to ensure the outgoing server settings are correct and functioning.

If you follow these steps, your outgoing SMTP server should be correctly configured on your iOS device for 2024.
